Upcountry on Maui.

His track record over the last 18 years includes industry marketing coverage ranging from brand narrative & campaign strategy, design, copywriting, advertising, analytics, web design, project management (and more). You name it, he’s probably done it. He holds a BA in International New Media Communications from Oregon State University.

He’s worked at agencies both large and small -- as well as in-house for some amazing brands like Disney/ABC Television Group, The Syndicate, 10 Barrel Brewing, Air Kauai, Thump Genuine Coffee, and many more.

Mackenzie is a creative marketing and PR pro with a knack for turning ideas into brand buzz and genuine
engagement. With a dual degree in Journalism and Communication from CU Boulder, her career spans top
agencies and in-house roles, where she’s mastered the art of impactful storytelling.

Mackenzie has led impactful B2B and B2C initiatives for businesses of all sizes, from industry giants like
Slack and DocuSign to local Maui companies such as Villa Group and Puka Perri. Excelling in media relations,
client communication, and strategic product launches, she blends creativity with data-driven insights to craft
standout social media content and engaging email campaigns that deliver real results.

Outside of marketing, Mackenzie is all about exploring—whether it’s new destinations, savoring delicious
cuisine, hiking scenic trails, or soaking in the perfect sunset at Poli Poli or Ho’okipa.

Cody Lang, born and raised on the beautiful island of Maui, is a photographer and cinematographer
known for his knack for capturing moments that feel timeless and raw.

With a career rooted in adventure and driven by creativity, Cody has collaborated with top brands and
organizations such as Skyline Hawaii, Procore, Dakine, and HILT. He leads creative projects with a focus
on capturing the fleeting moments that resonate deeply, evoking the universal emotions we all
experience but often overlook in our daily lives. Cody’s work embodies the spirit of exploration, drawing
from his deep connection to Maui’s landscapes and its diverse, dynamic lifestyle.

When he’s not behind the camera, Cody stays close to his love for adventure and fitness. His downtime
often involves ocean sports, running through Maui's scenic trails, or hitting the gym, where he finds calm
in physical endurance. Currently, he’s channeling his focus into training for a Half Ironman in Kona, set for
May 2025—a challenge that mirrors his dedication to pushing limits, whether through his art or athletic
pursuits.

Slater is an established cinematographer based in Maui, Hawaii. He has years of experience shooting for the
world's leading athletes and brands. With a strong passion for the ocean and all the sports surrounding it,
action sports naturally became a large part of what he shoots daily, and he made it a mission to capture high-
energy actions perfectly in a beautiful, unique style.

Aside from action sports, he has extensive experience shooting for high-end travel and lifestyle brands
worldwide, capturing beautiful moments and creating memorable, captivating cinematic imagery in any setting.

As the founder of Soul Creations, a short-form content studio specializing in full-service content creation, he
approaches all creative endeavors from a brand-first perspective. From pre-production to final delivery, he is an
expert in turning your inception into reality.

When I turned 7, my mother hired a rodeo clown for my birthday party. He showed up drunk and collapsed on my cake, ruining my day.

After an afternoon spent weeping in my treehouse, I vowed to overcome the sadness and make melons out of lemons.

This was the day I became creative.
